IT that just works.

Day-to-day IT support for small businesses on a monthly retainer. Networks, servers, hardware, backups, encryption, and the support calls — your whole stack looked after so you can focus on the business.

What's included

Networking

Wired and wireless office networks designed for small teams, including segmentation between staff, guest, and IoT, VPN for remote workers, switch and access-point configuration, and ongoing monitoring.

Servers & infrastructure

On-premises Windows and Linux servers plus cloud servers on Azure or AWS — patching, monitoring, performance tuning, and migration from on-prem to cloud when the math works.

Hardware & endpoints

Spec, order, and configure laptops, desktops, network gear, and peripherals. We pass through pricing at cost; the value is picking the right equipment and setting it up properly from day one.

Backups & disaster recovery

Automated backup schedules with tested restore procedures, off-site copies, and documented recovery plans so "what happens if X" has a real, practised answer before you need it.

Security & encryption

MFA rollout, password manager deployment, endpoint protection, full-disk encryption, phishing-awareness training, and basic policy documentation — the fundamentals that most small businesses still haven't locked down.

Day-to-day support

A real person on the other end of an email or message for password resets, software questions, printer problems, and urgent fixes — same-business-day for normal requests, faster for anything blocking work.

Questions

FAQ
Are you a managed service provider, or just a developer doing IT?+
Both. We started as a development shop and IT grew naturally out of supporting the apps we built — clients wanted one person handling everything. The IT side is a real practice now, with proper monitoring, backups, and procedures, not a side hustle.
How fast do you respond when something breaks?+
Same business day for normal requests. Within a couple of hours for things that are blocking work. Critical outages (server down, can't email) are handled immediately. We'll formalize specific response targets in your retainer agreement.
Do you do hardware procurement?+
Yes. Spec, order, and configure laptops, servers, network gear, peripherals. We pass through pricing at cost and don't mark up hardware. The value is in picking the right stuff and setting it up properly, not in the margin on a laptop.
What if our internal person already does most of this?+
Then we're a backup, not a replacement. Some clients keep us on a smaller retainer specifically as 'second set of eyes' or 'someone to call when our person is on vacation'. We can scope it that way.
Do you work with businesses outside Calgary?+
Remote IT work, yes — most of what a managed service provider does is remote anyway. On-site visits are practical for clients in the Calgary area and southern Alberta. Outside that we coordinate with local hands or focus on the remote-only parts.
